
Terms and Conditions for Small Moving Services
Best Quality Cleaning LLC – Small Moving Division
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the moving services provided by Best Quality Cleaning LLC (“Company”) to the customer (“Client”). By booking our services, the Client agrees to the following:
1. Services Provided:
- The Company provides small moving services, including local moves, item transport, furniture/appliance relocation, and loading/unloading assistance.
- The Company does not provide cross-country moves, long-distance trucking, or storage services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Services are limited to moves considered “small load” (e.g., apartments, dorms, small offices, or partial household moves).
2. Scheduling & Access:
- Services must be booked in advance.
- The Client is responsible for providing accurate details about items to be moved (size, weight, number of boxes, special handling requirements).
- Safe and reasonable access to both pickup and drop-off locations must be provided.
3. Packing & Preparation:
- The Client is responsible for securely packing all items unless packing services are specifically requested.
- Fragile, valuable, or delicate items must be clearly labeled.
- The Company is not responsible for damage to items improperly packed by the Client.
4. Payments
- Payment is due in full at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods: credit/debit card, or electronic payment.
- Late payments may incur a fee of $25 or 5% of the invoice (whichever is greater).
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a charge of 20% of the service fee.
- Same-day cancellations, including failure to provide access, may result in 50% of the service fee.
6. Liability
- The Company will take reasonable care when handling and transporting items.
- The Company is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage to items or property
- Normal wear and tear during moving
- Items improperly packed by the Client
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
- The Company’s liability for loss or damage is limited to $0.30 per pound per item unless additional coverage is purchased.
7. Client Responsibilities
- The Client must ensure that all items are ready for pickup at the scheduled time.
- The Client must secure parking or permits if required at pickup or delivery locations.
- Children and pets must be kept clear of moving areas for safety reasons.
8. Termination of Services
- The Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or if staff are subjected to disrespectful or threatening behavior.
9. Governing Law
- This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided.
- By booking small moving services with Best Quality Cleaning LLC, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
